Waseela Institute offers a wide variety of programs to meet the diverse needs of our students. We offer Halaqat in Qur’an and Hadith, Book Clubs, Qur’an Memorization Groups, Sadaqa Jaariya Projects, Sisterhood Bonding Events, and Supportive Webinars that address the various challenges Muslim women face in their lives.
Ustadha Dana Jarrar is a mother of 3 children. She has a degree in Education from the University of Jordan. She has several Ijazas in Qur'an, Hadith Sahih Bukhari and Hadith Nawawi. Several years ago she traveled to Jordan and received her certification in the Tafakkur curriculum which is an innovative, comprehensive curriculum for building a moral creative character of a Muslim child. After which she was the principal of WVMA Sunday School for 6 years. She continues to give the Tadabbur Qur’an Halaqa in MCA and Bukhari Hadith Halaqa online. Most recently she received a diploma in Educational Leadership from Kunooz Institute.
Sister Mona Eid is a mother of 5 children. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and studied at Al-Maghrib Institute for 8 years. She has been a student at Waseela Institute for nine years. She previously served as the director of the Bay Area Muslim Homeschoolers Group in Northern California.
Sr. Dana and Sr. Mona are passionate about empowering Muslim women and working on building strong families and strong communities.
